Postgraduate Training:
As the Principal Investigator (PI) of the “Environmental Catalysis Technology and Novel Functional Materials” academic research team, I have mentored graduate students who have received various prestigious awards and honors, including the “Top Ten Academic Stars of the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB)”, “Outstanding Merit Graduate Student”, “Excellent Doctoral/Master's Thesis of USTB”, and “National Scholarship”.
Academic Achievements
Over 300 SCI papers have been published, including those in Nature Communications, which have received over 10,000 citations, with an H‑index of 55. In addition, 52 invention patents have been granted and 7 academic books have been published. Since 2020, Prof. Yi has been continuously included in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list.

1. Research and Demonstration of Efficient Catalytic Materials and Process Intensification Technologies for Typical Pollutants, supported by National Key Research and Development Program of China, 2023-2026.
2. Study on Technology and Mechanism of Steel Slag Surface/Interface Regulation and Simultaneous Removal of Carbon, Sulfur, and Nitrogen Oxides from Ferrous Metallurgical Flue Gases, supported by China Baowu Low-Carbon Metallurgical Innovation Fund, 2023-2025.
3. Study on the synergistic mechanism of catalytic oxidation of toluene by low consumption controllable microwave - induced composite absorbing materials, supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2019-2022.
