1. Air pollution control and resource utilization.
2. Environmental functional materials.
Postgraduate Training:
In 2012, we established the “Air Pollution Control and Resource Utilization” research team, which currently has over 40 enrolled graduate students. Up to now, students from our team have received more than 200 awards and honors, including the "Top Ten Academic Stars of the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB)", "Excellent Three‑Good Graduate", and "Excellent Doctoral/Master's Thesis of USTB". Our team has won the titles such as "Excellent Collective of the Party Branch", "Jianlong Best Team of Graduate Students", and "Excellent Graduate Student Collective" for many times.
Academic Achievements
More than 300 SCI papers have been published, of which 12 are highly cited by ESI. These papers have been cited more than 11,000 times, with an H index of 56. Besides, 49 invention patents have been authorized, and 4 academic works have been published. Since 2020, Prof. Tang has been selected into the list of the top 2% scientists in the world for six consecutive years.
