Congratulations to Xia Zhenzhen and Wei Jianing, graduates of the class of 2020 on wining Beijing outstanding undergraduate graduation thesis
On October 27, 2020, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission issued a notice on publicizing the list of outstanding undergraduate graduation projects (theses) of universities in Beijing in 2020. The graduation thesis “research on the process scheme of compound injection of hydrogen rich fuel in oxygen blast furnace” wrote by Xia Zhenzhen, an undergraduate of Energy and Power Engineering who was directed by Pro. Jiang Zeyi from the School of Energy and Environmental Engineering and “research on hand washing behavior pattern and its influencing factors in Chinese population during novel coronavirus pneumonia” wrote by Wei Jianing, an undergraduate of Environmental Engineering who was directed by Cao Suzhen from the School of Energy and Environmental Engineering won the " Beijing outstanding undergraduate graduation thesis ".
In order to implement the spirit of "opinions on improving the talent cultivation ability of universities in Beijing" issued by Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, further strengthen undergraduate education and teaching and improve the quality of graduation design (thesis), Beijing Municipal Education Commission organized the evaluation work of graduation design (thesis) in 2020 in Beijing ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities and selected 1038 outstanding undergraduate graduation projects (theses).
School of Energy and Environmental Engineering always attaches importance to undergraduate education, adheres to the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue, adheres to "people-oriented", constantly strengthens tutors’ guidance to students and strictly requires the quality of graduation design (thesis). This award will encourage students of USTB to continuously improve the quality of graduation design (thesis) and promote our university to comprehensively improve the quality of applied talents training.
