On the afternoon of September 16, 2020, five representatives including Dr. Ying Liu, general manager of Institute of Resources and Environmental Technology (Beijing) Co., LTD. came to our institute for technical exchange. Dr. Ying Liu (general manager), Dr. Jiankang Wen and Dr. Xuetao Yuan (deputy general manager), Dr. Bowei Chen (deputy general manager, Environmental Protection Division) and Dr. Qiyuan Gu (head, water treatment team of Environmental Protection Division) attended the technical exchange meeting. Prof. Dr. Yi Xing (Dean, school of Energy and Environmental Engineering), Chunyang Dong (Secretary, school of Energy and Environmental Engineering), Prof. Dehong Xia and Prof. Dr. Xiaoli Duan (Vice President, school of Energy and Environmental Engineering), Prof. Dr. Zeyi Jiang (Head, Department of Thermal Science and Energy Engineering), Prof. Dr. Mingyong Wang (Professor, School of Metallurgy Ecology and Engineering), Prof. Dr. Xin Lu (Professor, the School of Materials Science and Engineering), and some other teachers of the School of Energy and Environmental Engineering attended the meeting.

Yi Xing introduced the basic information, characteristic technology and other aspects of our school of Energy and Environmental Engineering to the guests in detail. Ying Liu also gave a detailed introduction on the basic situation, areas of expertise and innovative technologies of Institute of Resources and Environmental Technology (Beijing) Co., LTD. The two sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation issues and exchanged views on the signing of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Jointly building USTB of Energy and Environment and Innovation Research Institute of Green Materials in Huairou District, Beijing.

This meeting will help the two sides leverage their respective advantages in scientific research technology, achievement transformation and innovation platform in energy, environment and green material innovation research, so as to realize complementary advantages and promote resource sharing. It has the great significance to the further development of practical cooperation. After the meeting, all the representatives visited the laboratory of the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, and had a deeper understanding of the experimental platform of the college, so as to facilitate more smooth cooperative research between the two sides in the future.
