Summer Course of Non-Sewered Sanitation System
In order to promote students to learn more about fecal sludge management, sanitation systems, and wastewater treatment technologies, and keep them abreast of the latest international research trends and development of frontier, the School of Energy and Environmental Engineering, Beijing Key Laboratory of Resource-oriented Treatment of Industrial Pollutants, University of Science and Technology Beijing will organize a summer course on the topic of Non-sewered sanitation system. For this course, Prof. Thammarat Koottatep, from the Environmental Engineering Management of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, is invited to give lectures from Monday August 24th to Friday August 28th 2020.
Thammarat Koottatep is an internationally recognized professional on fecal sludge management, sanitation systems, and wastewater treatment technology. His major scholarly contributions include publications of more than 60+ refereed international journal papers, 3 books, and 9 book chapters. In this course, students will have a deeper understanding of heath, sanitation, environmental health, environmental sanitation. At the same time, this summer course can promote international teaching and academic exchanges, laying a good foundation for improving our school's teaching practice and promoting the construction of disciplines.
